Abakaliki - Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday held a closed- door meeting with Governor Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State, reports Punch.
The meeting was held at the Government House in Abakaliki, the state capital.
Both met to discuss issues relating to Saturday’s governorship and state House of Assembly elections in the state.

The meeting according to sources was aimed at stopping the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the incumbent Deputy Governor, Dave Umahi, from emerging victorious in Saturday’s elections.
