Asaba - The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the April 11 election in Delta State, Great Ogboru on Thursday said he was set to return to the election tribunal to contest the results of the governorship election in the state, reports Punch.

He noted that the rigging is too senseless to be ignored.

Ogboru, who spoke in his country home in Abraka, said his party would not accept the declaration of the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as the duly elected governor of the state.

He alleged that the whole process that produced Okowa was characterised by many irregularities which he believes provided him and his party enough legal grounds to ask the election tribunal to cancel or upturn the governorship election.
