Abuja - The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for Ogoja and Yala Federal Constituency, Timmy Tom Udam, has welcomed the recent adoption of the national conference report by the federal executive council.
Udam, the immediate past Community Relations Officer for Ogoja, said the move was a good omen to the Ogoja people in their aspiration to be given a state.
Udam stated this when a delegation of youth, led by Maurice Nkong, Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria in Ogoja, paid him a courtesy visit to declare their support for President Goodluck Jonathan and all the candidates of the PDP in the forthcoming elections.
Udam said the adoption of the conference report was timely and a clear indication that the president meant well for the people of Ogoja.

"Therefore the entire Ogoja people should vote massively for the re-election of President Jonathan," he said.
Udam asked the youths to translate their resolution into action by voting massively for Jonathan and Professor Ben Ayade for governor along with all PDP candidates in the March 28 and April 11 elections.
The youths urged the president to facilitate the establishment of a federal polytechnic in Ogoja to help reduce stress the youth pass through in accessing quality middle manpower education around the area.
