Ogun PDP supporters fight over Jonathan’s campaign largesse

Abeokuta - Some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State on Wednesday threw caution into the winds as they engaged each other in a public brawl, reports National Mirror.

They were fighting over the sharing of money allegedly meant for state coordinators engaged for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election bid.

The money was to be shared among the 708 coordinators drawn from 236 wards of the state.

Trouble began after two national officers of the party, Fatai Adeyanju (National Auditor) and Pegba Otemolu (South West Secretary) told the coordinators  that the money was yet to be made available.

The aggrieved coordinators consequently held the two leaders hostage and insisted that they will not allow them go until the funds were released.
