Okpe kingdom welcomes Igbuya’s re-election

Lagos - Political leaders under the auspices of the Okpe Patriotic Front (OPF) have hailed the re-election of Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Monday Ovwigho Igbuya.

He has been re-endorsed on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“The only person who can truly lead the assembly in the spirit of one Delta is Igbuya, considering his wealth of experience and performance,” OPF chairman, Alex Ayomanor, said.

He expressed hope Igbuya transform the lives of people and the state.

“Igbuya served Sapele people with distinction. He is forthright, honest and meek in attitude. He understands issues of both economic and social political weights. He is also fired by the urge to put his best in everything he does,” Ayonamor said.

OPF consists of prominent political figures from the Okpe kingdom.

It aims to pursue legitimate interests of the kingdom.

Its commendation of Igbuya comes ahead Governor-elect of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa’s inauguration of the 29-member- Delta State House of Assembly.
The event is scheduled for the beginning of June.
