Abuja - The Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe has congratulated the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, reports Vanguard.
Okupe in a statement on Saturday, also congratulated the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for the victory of the APC in the March 28 presidential election.

He noted that President Goodluck Jonathan fought a good fight and put up a good showing at the election.
Okupe stated that if he knew the outcome of the presidential election would be like this, he would still have backed President Jonathan 100 per cent all the way.
Okupe was among numerous members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who vowed that Buhari would never rule the country again.
