Akure - The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has gone to the Election Petition Tribunal to challenge two out of the 21 House of Assembly seats won by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the April 11 Assembly election in the state, reports New Telegraph.
The constituencies are Ilaje constituency 11 and Akure South constituency 1.
The two candidates, Gbenga Edema for Ilaje and Festus Aregbesola for Akure South in two separate petitions filed by the APC counsel, Charles Titiloye, are praying the tribunal to set aside the return of the PDP, candidates as winners of the election in the state constituencies.

The candidates are urging the tribunal to declare them as winners having scored the majority of lawful votes cast in the elections.
