Lagos – Very close to the presidential election, the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Ali Olanusi deflected from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the opposition party, All Progressives Congress (APC), This Day reports.
In a statement that was signed by Olanusi, he announced that his reason for deflection was in order to chart a new way in order with the changes and developments that are happening in Ondo State and in the country as a whole.

Olanusi, 73, has said that he needed to chart a new course for his followers who look to him for leadership, and have had to deal with marginalisation in the government. He said that in the APC that will find fairness, equity and democratic liberty and the majority of their kin belong to the party.
