Ortom appoints SSG, Chief of Staff, HOS

Makurdi - Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue on Monday appointed Targema Takema and Terwase Orbunde as Secretary to State Government (SSG) and Chief of Staff respectively.

Other appointments also announced on Monday were that of Iwanta Adaikwu as Head of Service, while Tahav Agerzua was appointed Special Adviser on Media.

The new Benue governor announced the appointments at the end of the Caucus meeting of the APC in Government House, Makurdi.

The new SSG served the party in various capacities, including its interim chairman.

Orbunde, a former Local Government boss, is reputed to be a thorough bred administrator, while Agerzua had served the state before as chief spokesman under Governor George Akume.

The new appointees would be inaugurated on June 2.
