Calabar - The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has emerged as the new Chairman of the South South Governors Forum, reports Punch.
He succeeds Gov. Liyel Imoke of Cross River State.

The forum, otherwise called Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Edo and Delta Governors’ Forum (BRACED, was founded by the governors of the South-South states with the aim of championing a common political and economic goal.
In his acceptance speech, Oshiomohle thanked the governors for the trust reposed in him and promised to do his best.
