Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) has disowned some of its former members who endorsed President Goodluck Jonathan in the March 28 Presidential election, reports Premium Times.
Bashir Ibrahim, the party’s National Chairman, said those who endorsed Jonathan are old members who have left the party since last June for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He noted that the old members could not speak for the party.
He stated that the party at its National Executive Committee of January 22, 2015, unanimously, without any dissension, resolved to support the presidential candidate of APC, Muhammadu Buhari.
He maintained that the party has not change that position.
