Benin City - Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and those of the All Progressives Congress on Tuesday clashed in Benin, Edo State reports Leadership.
The clash follows the discovery of 500 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) at the residence of a chieftain of the PDP in the state.

The PDP chieftain upon interrogation confessed that the PVCs belonged to a House of Representatives candidate from Edo Central.
The encounter was said to have degenerated into a pandemonium as the APC supporters present demanded that the PDP chieftain must be handover over to the police for proper investigation.
PDP members, however, insisted that he should be left off the hook.
