Asaba - Two senatorial aspirants in Delta State on Monday exchanged blows at the Oshimili South Local Government Area Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), reports Eagle Online.

The candidates, former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Peter Nwaoboshi, and the erstwhile Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Victor Ochei, are both contesting for the Delta North senatorial seat.

Both were quarreling over the result of Saturday’s National Assembly election in the senatorial district.

While Ochei, who dumped PDP for Accord Party to contest the seat, cried foul,  Nwaoboshi, who is the PDP candidate, was battling to have the results declared at all cost .

Nwaobosh, who won the election, asked Ochei to meet him in court if he was not satisfied with the results .

This, however, did not go down well with Ochei.

In the ensuing argument, both exchanged blows in the presence of INEC officials
