Abuja - The national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused some aides and associates of President Goodluck Jonathan of planning to cause crisis in the party, reports Vanguard.
The party said their aim was to pave the way for more members to dump the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Olisa Metuh, the party National Publicity Secretary, noted that the aides and associates are taking advantage of their closeness to Jonathan to split the party.

He noted that these aides, some of whom mismanaged the presidential campaigns, were trying to cause crisis in the party to divert attention from their misdeeds.
He stated that the party would expose such individuals and make them face the full weight of the party disciplinary measures if they failed to immediately retrace their steps.
