Lagos - The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused some Lagos traditional rulers of rigging the April 11 governorship election in favour of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Punch.
The party noted that the rigging took place inside the palaces of the traditional rulers.

The state’s Chairman of the party, Tunji Shelle, said the party was aware of the plans beforehand and informed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) about the plans of the monarchs but noting was done to prevent them from going ahead to rig the election.
He noted that most of the rigging took place in the Lekki/ Ajah area of the state.
