Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may have tactically barred President Goodluck Jonathan from contesting for the presidency in 2019, reports New Mail.
The party might zone the presidency to the North in 2019.

A member of the party’s Board of Trustees, Ebenezer Babatope, who disclosed this on Wednesday, said the party will field a strong Hausa/Fulani candidate to run against the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, in 2019.
Bababtope noted that though President Jonathan has the right to contest the election, the PDP may not select him as the party’s presidential standard bearer in the 2019 presidential election.
He stated that the President has done his best in uplifting the nation’s democracy.
