Owerri - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has demanded for the cancellation of the April 11 governorship and House of Assembly elections in Imo State, reports National Mirror.
The demand for the cancellation is coming just 72 hours to the re-run election on the inconclusive April 11 governorship poll.
The April 11 elections according to the party were marred by monumental fraud perpetrated by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before, during, and after the elections.

Nnamdi Anyaehie, the party’s Chairman in the state, alleged that INEC officials were offered between N1 million and N75 million by the state government at Government House, Owerri, which resulted in the falsification of results at INEC office.
He noted that there were selective deployment of card reader machines to PDP stronghold, while manual accreditation of voters were carried out in APC dominated areas.
