PDP chieftain urges George to apologise to Obasanjo

2015-02-19 10:04

Abuja - Gloria Adebajo-Fraser, leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos, has berated Bode George over comments he made regarding former President Olusegun Obasanjo, PUNCH reports.

While reacting to an allegation made by Obasanjo against President Goodluck Jonathan, George is alleged to have said that Obasanjo "should graciously fade away into the midnight".

Adebajo-Fraser has called George out on his utterances, saying that he did not have the moral justification to call Obasanjo an ingrate, giving that Obasanjo "made him what he is today".

The chieftain has urged George to make an apology to Obasanjo and also be cautious about his utterances, given the complex nature of the current political climate.

In addition, Adebajo-Fraser has also stated that Bode George should leave the political stage and allow younger members within the PDP to flourish.
