Abuja - The People’s Democratic Party has commended
President Goodluck Jonathan for intervening and ending bickering amongst
leaders of the party, Vanguard reported.
This follows the outcome of the 2015 election results and
PDP National Secretary, Olisa Metuh, has expressed that executives of the party
need to comply accordingly at all levels to restore peace.

Leadership of the PDP does regret any embarrassment that
could have been avoided.
The party states that they are aware of unfortunate
developments and partly blame post-election trauma for the party skirmishes.
