Abuja - The Acting National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC), congratulated Bello Haliru Mohammed on his emergence as the Acting Chairman of the party's Board Of Trustees (BoT).
PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, said Mohammed, as former Acting National Chairman and former Deputy National Chairman of the PDP, was adequately equipped to serve at this level.
Metuh expressed confidence Mohammed would steer the ship of the BoT in the overall quest to rebuild and reposition the party at this point in time.

“The National Working Committee assured that it would work hand-in-hand with the Board of Trustees and other key stakeholders in stabilizing and reengineering the party to restore its preeminence in the polity,” Metuh said.
He solicited for the support of all members and assured of party determination to instill internal democracy, strict adherence to rules, zero tolerance for indiscipline and uphold the supremacy of the party and its constitution at all times.
Mohammed recently assumed the leadership of the PDP BoT after Tony Anenih quit in the wake of the party's defeat in the general elections.
Secondus himself took over from Adamu Mu'azu who resigned under similar circumstances.
