PDP defectors will not be admitted says Enugu APC

Enugu - The All Progressives Congress in Enugu has expressed that the party will not be admitting any people who defected from the People's Democratic Party, Punch reported.

This was disclosed by the Public Secretary of the APC, Kate Offor, that the party's State executive Committee meeting.

The decision has been brought upon by rumours that some prominent PDP members in the state are wanting to defect to the APC to capitalise on appointments.

Some of the PDP members who are wanting to defect to the opposition include, Prof Barth Nnaji. 

APC leaders are appalled by Nnaji wanting to only defect now as before the general elections, the APC had lobbied him to join the party but refused.
