Port Harcourt - Mr Ralph Hart, Secretary, Rivers PDP Blueprint Committee, on Friday, denied copying/ plagiarizing the blueprint of the All Progressives Congress’ governorship candidate in the state.

Dr Dakuku Peterside, the governorship candidate of the APC in Rivers, had alleged that the PDP copied his economic blueprint for the development of the state.

Hart told newsmen in Port Harcourt that the 12 member committee that wrote the PDP blueprint, worked for 10 months to produce the document.

He said the committee comprised four professors, four lawyers, a chartered accountant and the party’s deputy governorship candidate, Dr Ipalibo Harry.

"The PDP’s analysis of what the APC claims to be a roadmap does not reveal any correlation whatsoever between the APC document and the blueprint of the PDP governorship candidate", he said.

Hart added that the PDP blueprint was a social contract between the PDP, its candidate and the residents of Rivers state.

"Our mission document has a clearly set out table of contents that directs the attention of the readership to any area of special interest or concern", he said.

According to the Secretary, the PDP is too serious a political party to clone, copy or plagiarize any document.
