Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has denied sponsoring the circulation of leaflets urging the people of Gombe State to stay away from the polling booths on election days or risk being in trouble, reports The Nation.
Abdullahi Jalo, PDP’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, said the PDP would not be a party to such unconstitutional act.
He stated that the insurgents were trying to scare away voters in order to target new weapons acquired by the government to fight them.
