Lagos - Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP have denied rumours that they are planning to abandon President Goodluck Jonathan in the March 28 presidential election, reports New Telegraph.
The governors equally refuted reports that they are planning to dump the party to form a new party.

The governors, who were on Monday reported to have converged on Lagos State for that purpose, said they are solidly behind President Jonathan because the future of Nigeria lies with him.
Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio,who spoke on behalf of other PDP governors, said none of his colleagues is contemplating leaving the party.
