Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDPGF) has called on Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State to step down as Chairman of the forum, reports Vanguard.
The PDP governors are angry with Akpabio for attending a meeting of the Gov. Rotimi Amaechi faction of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) without notifying them.

The governors faulted Akpabio for his failure to call for a meeting of the PDP governors prior to the NGF meeting.
In a bid to force him to resign, the aggrieved PDP governors have reported Akpabio to President Goddluck Jonathan.
