PDP hails court ruling on Fayose

Lagos - The Peoples Democratic Party has hailed the Supreme Court's ruling to uphold the election of Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose as a triumph of democracy.

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh said that the decision has given hope to the survival of democracy in a time where other institutions are being compromised by the All Progressives Congress.

He reaffirmed the PDP's intention to stand by Fayose and the people of the state, and vowed to resist any political intimidation or blackmail aimed at destabilising the state.

He also warned against any agents who had intentions of causing chaos within the state.
