Yaro listed other members of the council as directors from the zones, coordinators from local governments and their assistants from the wards as well as conversers from all the polling units across the state.

He explained that the council would be responsible for coordinating all campaign activities for the success of the party in the presidential election and other elections in the state.

The chairman called on all stakeholders to go back to their zones, local governments, wards and polling units to campaign for the success of the party.

Earlier, Gov. Yuguda advised party members in the state not to rest on their oars untill all PDP candidates emerged victorious, particularly President Goodluck Jonathan.

"Based on the calibre of the people that made up the campaign council, I am very confident that PDP will deliver good results in Bauchi state.

"As the chairman of the campaign council, I will not sleep until I ensure that PDP emerged victorious in all electoral seats,’’ he said.

Yuguda said the party would flag-off its campaign in the state on Jan. 19.

He advised the party supporters to be law abiding and avoid any kind of violence in the cause of the campaign.

In his acceptance speech, Dahiru thanked the PDP state executives for the confidence reposed in him and other members of the campaign council.
