Yola - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has lifted the suspension on the former chairman of the party, Bamanga Tukur, reports Peoples Daily.
The lifting of the suspension was announced by the party’s National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu during the party’s presidential rally in Yola on Thursday.Also read: Tukur asks court to reinstate him as PDP chairman
Tukur was suspended in December 2014 for taking the party to court in an effort to retake the chairmanship of the party.
He was forced to resign in January 2014 after a protracted crisis rocked the party .
