Bauchi - Contrary to the speculations that members of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) sponsored the attack on the convoy of President Goodluck Jonathan in Bauchi last Thursday, Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda has declared that the attack was actually carried out by Peoples Democratic party members, reports Vanguard.
Yuguda attributed the attack to some PDP members based in Abuja.Also read: Youths attack Jonathan in Bauchi
He stated that the attack was instigated by the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bala Mohammed, to embarrass him.
He noted that Mohammed wanted to use the ugly incident to tarnish his image before President Jonathan.
