PDP thugs hold Sambo hostage

Kano - Political thugs suspected to be members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State on Monday held Vice President Namadi Sambo hostage, reports Premium Times.

Sambo, who was on a visit to the Bayero University, old Campus Kano was held hostage for about 20 minutes.

The thugs were protesting against the way the party leadership in the state have treated them despite the fact that they have risked their lives to keep the PDP alive in the state.

The thugs chanted  “we are no longer with you”, while others shouted “we are fed up with payless job”.

It took the intervention of some party bigwigs and the police before Sambo was allowed to proceed with his journey.
