PDP vows to reclaim Kano, Imo, Rivers, Kwara, Sokoto, others

Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday vowed to reclaim all the states it lost to the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) through defection of five governors, reports Vanguard.

Olisa Metuh, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, said besides winning Sokoto, Kano, Kwara, Rivers and Imo states, it had put in place measures that would enable it win additional states, especially Lagos and other states in the South West.

He stated that he was optimistic that the party will emerge victorious in the February general elections because all the candidates the party is presenting for the various positions are sellable.

He noted that despite the negative media propaganda of the APC against the PDP, the party has continued to wax stronger.
