PDP wins Ebonyi state

Abakaliki - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has won the March 28 presidential election in Ebonyi State, South East Nigeria.

In a result announced on Monday in Abakaliki by state collation officer, Prof Chukwuemeka Ahaneku, PDP polled a total of 323,625 while closest rival APC which polled 19,518.

A Total of 29,449 votes were Registered while 422,702 votes were accredited and Total votes cast stood at 393,330.

A breakdown of the results are as follows, AD 113, ADC 2704, NPN 2452, APC 19518, CPP 2345, HOPE 898, KOWA 913, SDP 18190, PDP 323653, PPN 1168, UDP 624, UPP 4859 .

The PDP won all the 13 local government areas in the state.
