PPN presidential candidate steps down for Jonathan

Abuja - Less than four weeks to the presidential election, the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN), Kelvin Allagoa has stepped down for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), President Goodluck Jonathan, reports NewsWire

He said his decision to step down is to allow President Jonathan continue with the transformation agenda.

Allagoa is among the sixteen presidential candidates cleared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to contest the presidential election.

The National Chairman of the PPN,  Lawal Adamu in a statement jointly signed with the National Secretary of the party, Razak Eyiowuawi,said the party is happy with Jonathan’s transformation in the educational and agricultural sectors of the economy.
