Abuja - The Action Alliance (AA) has disowned Senator Tunde Anifowose-Kelani as its presidential candidate in the February 14 presidential election, reports ThisDay.
The party, in a petition to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), said Kelani was suspended from the party since May 8,2014.
The party noted that since Kelani was suspended, he is not qualified to organize a valid national convention to elect, select, or ratify the name of any person or himself as the presidential candidate of the party.Also read: Jonathan, Buhari and 9 others make INEC candidate list
The party stated that it did not hold any national convention to warrant the emergence of Kelani or any other person.
The party maintained that it has no presidential candidate in the poll .
