Abuja - The Department of State Service (DSS) has uncovered plans by some persons to announce election results ahead of INEC, warning Nigerians and international observers to disregard any such announcement, Leadership reports.
The DSS warned that Nigerians that anyone who contradicts or contravene electoral process at the polling booths will be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.

The Service spokesman, Marilyn Ogar, said that INEC remains the only legal body to announce election results.
President Goodluck Jonathan in a nationwide broadcast has urged the citizens to troop out en-masse to peacefully perform their civic duty of voting for their leaders on Saturday.
