Kano - A one-million man marched that had been planned in
support of presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Muhamamdu
Buhari, has been cancelled by police in Kano, Pulse reported.
The event, which was organised by the Buhari Youth
Organisation was going to be held in the Sani Abacha Indoor Stadium but
proposed marchers were told by security personnel the rally can only be held
inside the venue.

Organisers of the event did receive permission through a
letter from the State Police Comissioner but another letter was sent out
stating the march was cancelled.
Earlier Buhari was also refused permission to hold a rally
at the Murtala Mohammed Sqaure in Kaduna.
