Abuja - A group of members-elect for the 8th House of Representatives have welcomed the position taken by the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) not to zone key positions in the National Assembly, reports Daily Trust.

The Reps elect, under the aegis of Consolidation Group, said the party’s decision was for the good of Nigeria’s democracy.

The group, which is working for the emergence of Yakubu Dogara as the next Speaker, noted that the party’s stand was in line with the position of the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari.
