Port Harcourt. The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to challenge the victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Nyesom Wike, at the State Election Tribunal, reports Premium Times.
The party stated that its mandate was stolen by the PDP in connivance with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the police.

Davies Ikanya, Chairman of the party in the state, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, noted that the mandate given its candidate, Dakuku Peterside, by the people of the state would be retrieved for the good of the future of the state.
He added that the brazen electoral theft by Wike and the PDP would not be allowed to stand.
