Abuja - Vice President Namadi Sambo has said that the administration under President Goodluck Jonathan has been working hard towards the transformation of the country, Sun News.
Speaking yesterday at a meeting with some PDP grassroots groups, Sambo revealed that the current administration has taken great strides in the areas of power generation, transmission and distribution.
Speaking to PDP executives in 250 wards in Kaduna State, Sambo disclosed that by completing 10 new thermal power plants, approximately 4,700mw have been added to the national grid and facilitated in the initiation of several new power projects.

He added that a transmission line was currently being mounted from the Gurara Hydro Power Plant to transmit 20mw to Kudendan industrial area. A further 10mw will be transmitted to communities around the Gurara zone.
Sambo also pledged the completion of the 215mw power plant in Kudendan, which he claims has reached an advanced stage of completion.
