Security warned not to intimidate voters - AFC

Kaduna - The Arewa Consultative Forum has warned security personnel who will be present at polling stations not to intimidate voters or harass them, Punch reported.

The forum's Publicity Secretary, Muhammad Ibrahim, expressed the duty of the security at voting stations is to protect INEC officials and voters.

Further the forum has appealed to all Nigerians to conduct themselves peacefully as they vote for the next president.

The youth has been warned shun away from violence or anything that will jeopardise the process of run a free and fair election, while is also thanked General Abubakar Abdulsalami who led the two opposition leaders to sign a peace accord.
