Akwa Ibom - The senator of the Eket District People's Democratic Party, Helen Esuene has dumped the party for the Labour Party, DailyIndependent reported.
Esuene stated that the decision to leave the party comes after she was denied the opportunity to serve people on the platform of the PDP.

She has taken further steps to accomplish her goals to offer the people of Akwa Ibom her leadership skills and be able to serve all people with her administration.
Esuene further added she will provide adequate security to the communities and make sure their needs are catered for.
