Sokoto - Immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal has denied having a preferred candidate to succeed him as Speaker of the House, reports Leadership.
Tambuwal disclosed this on Monday when one of the aspirants for the position, Yakubu Dogara and some members of the House paid him a courtesy visit in Sokoto.
He admonished the two leading aspirants in the race, Dogara and Femi Gbajabiamila to avoid anything that would cause discord among members of the House.

He advised the the two candidates to keep their campaign issues-based.
Rumours have been rife that Tambuwal was supporting Dogara for the position.
