Three corps members arrested for selling ballot papers

Edo - It is alleged that three members belonging to the National Youth Service Corpse have been arrested for selling ballot papers and other election materials, DailyIndependent reported.

The members served as adhoc staff for the Independent National Electoral Commission for the House of Assembly elections.

According to reports, they allegedly sold the ballot papers for N40 000 which included of two packets of ballot papers.

This was revealed by the Edo State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mike Igini while reviewing the 2015 polls.

However investigations have commenced to determine what exactly happened with the two officers and have since been suspended.
