Lagos - Some street urchins in Idumagbo area of Lagos Island have confessed that they were hired by some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pelt the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari during his visit to the Oba of Lagos on Friday, reports Peoples Daily.
They confessed that they were paid the sum of N300 000 to carry out the attack.Also read: APC calls Obanikoro a liar
They were also asked to embarrass national leader of the party, Bola Tinubu during the visit of Buhari to the Oba of Lagos.
They, however, said they could not execute the plan has security details attached to the convoy of Buhari dislodged them at the various point they have assembled.
Former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro had alleged that Buhari was pelted with stones during his campaign rally in Lagos on Friday.
