Abuja - Former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bamanga Tukur has attributed the defeat of the party in the just concluded general elections to the failure of the leadership of the party to adhere to his warning on the looming loss, reports New Telegraph.
He berated the party’s leadership for ignoring his warning and for refusing to mend its ways.

Tukur in a statement on Friday in Abuja, stated that he had warned the party in 2013 that it will suffer defeat in the 2015 general elections if the leaders refuse to change their ways and allow for internal democracy within the party.
He added that he had pointed out the new direction the party should follow, before he was forced out of the party by forces that did not want him.
