Uduaghan rallies support for Jonathan, PDP candidates

Abuja - Emmanuel Uduaghan, Delta State Governor, has made an urgent call to the people of Mbiri in the Ika North-East Local Government Area to support the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan as well as the election of PDP governorship candidate in the state Ifeanyi Okowa.

Speaking through a statement released on Monday, Uduaghan urged the masses to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and vote massively for the ruling party, PUNCH reports.

Meanwhile, at a recent rally in the state, the Isoko Development Union also threw its weight behind governorship candidate Ifeanyi Okowa.

Led by Senator Stella Omu, the Isoko PDP leaders assured Okowa of the people's commitment towards giving him and President Goodluck Jonathan a 100 per cent votes at the polls.

In his remarks, Okowa promised to end the political marginalisation of the Isoko people by carrying them along in his government.
