Violent free elections will take place, says EU

Abuja - The European Union, stated that they had sent an Election Observation Mission for the general elections in order to ensure that it remains violence-free, reports Vanguard.

The press officer of the mission, Eberhard Laue, has confirmed that the observers would arrive on the 25th of January.

The group has also confirmed that their involvement will not only be in the security of the citizens but also on the electoral process, and thereafter.  Spokesperson, says they vow to observe the rest of the campaign activities.  

The EOM is set to publish a report for improvements for the 2020 elections, after having helped and studied the up coming general elections.
