Abuja - The Chairman of Arewa Consultative Forum, Alhaji Ibrahim Comassie explained in his opinion why the Northern states voted for Muhammadu Buhari over Goodluck Jonathan.

He said that Buhari was victorious in the north due to Jonathan's administration not addressing the difficulties of the people in the north.
The former Inspector General of Police positively described Buhari's appointment as president as it would bring about a positive change in the north and the rest of the country.
Comassie also added that the task ahead of Buhari was daunting but looking at his past history, there is no doubt that he would introduce good governance.
