London - One Direction member Louis Tomlinson has signed a contract with Championship side Doncaster Rovers.
"This has always been a childhood dream for me," he said. "I feel very honoured to have been asked to sign for Rovers."
The singer will wear the number 28 shirt for the English second division club during the 2013/14 season.
Fans of One Direction don't have to fear the band splitting up – the 21-year-old has signed the deal to raise money for charity.
Although the singer has been given a squad number he is unlikely to appear for the club in a first team match but is set to play for the club's development squad at some point.
