Lagos - For very weird reasons, the record deal between pop star, Wizkid and his protege, L.A.X has been shrouded in secrecy for the past six months.
In August 2013, Wizkid signed L.A.X to his Starboy Records and he officially announced him with this tweet.
L.A.X, in an interview said that he has a record label deal with Starboy to release two albums in a duration of two years, which ended in 2015.
Here are four reasons why L.A.X is no longer with Wizkid’s Starboy Records.
1. Wizkid made a special announcement unveiling three new acts under his Starboy Entertainment Worldwide.
The new acts are Efya, R2Bess, and Mr. Eazi with L.A.X missing
2. L.A.X’s new video ‘Awon Da’ has no Starboy logo in it
3. All his social media handles has nothing that links him to Starboy any more
4. Early in 2016, L.A.X parted ways with his long-time manager, Remi Oyedipe, otherwise called ‘Ragga Remi’, who has managed L.A.X since 2010. He signed a new management deal with Gas promotions that has no affiliation to Starboy.
